Scrapbooking Layout Idea - Girls - Miss Layla

This layout is from Easter 2014 (yes a bit behind). Kraft cardstock on white white some leftover scrap supplies. 

I am quite focused at the moment on using my scraps and I have a tonne of them.  I love the gold accents, and also the combination of lace and kraft is a favourite of mine at the moment.

Step 1 - Pick a Photo

Step 2 -Spend some time going through your stash of leftovers and sort them out by colour, choosing items that you think might go with the photo. Don't over think it. The idea is to gather an assortment of bits at this stage.

Step 3 - When you're done start preparing your background using your larger peices of paper. You can tear, ink or distress them you provide texture. Re-arrange them until you're happy with the design.

Step 4 - Matte the photo and place it down. Don't adhere as yet.

Step 5 - Now is the time you can start playing with your embellishments and placing them. Don't forger to layer and stack using 3D tape to  create dimension.
