Alice in Wonderland Pockets - August Creative Day Project
August was a month of imagination as our Creative Day make-and-take project was in keeping with our up-and-coming Alice in Wonderland-themed retreat. I thought it would be fun to create a fun and functional pocket file using the Sizzix Stitched Slots Die!
Craft Products used:
Creating these delightful envelopes called for a mix of Alice in Wonderland-themed dies and die cuts . Here’s what we used:
- Base Dies: The Sizzix Stitched Slot Die was used as the foundation for the pocket file envelopes, providing a sturdy and stylish base.
- Alice in Wonderland-Themed Dies: We used some whimsical Alice in Wonderland dies such as the white rabbit. and a clock stamp.
- Cardstock: I pre-cut the stitched slot die in yellow and chose some red and white spotted paper and some stripey paper to decorate.
- Embellishments: To add extra charm, we used:
How We Made Them
- Using the pre-cut Sizzix Stitched Slot Die, we cut the paper so use on the the front. Spotty red and stripey papers.
- We incorporated White Rabbit die cuts, layering them onto the front of the pocket.
- Then it was just a matter of slipping the other tickets and die-cuts into the slots.
- We also added a clock stamped image, tying in the White Rabbit’s ever-important “late” motif. Finishing it of with sparkling embellishments to give each envelope its own unique flair.
