June Mood Board Inspiration and Ideas

JUNE MOOD BOARD 

I began working on the mood boards back in December 2023 and created a Mood Board for each month for the year 2024. When I started planning for the June Mood Board release, I realised that it was very similar to the May Mood Board with rich earthy tones which very much depicted the Autumn theme.  

Recognising the need for something more uplifting and to change it up a little, I decided to change the Mood Board colour palette.  I thought it would be fun to introduce explosions of color that could truly inspire us. The June Mood Board is bursting with energy and is a celebration of bright and bold colors, capturing the essence of joy, creativity, and pure happiness. 

Whether you create a scrapbooking layout, card, tag, or other off-the-page project. I hope it inspires you to create a project full of fun and colour.  The colours are designed to make a statement, to stand out and be noticed. 

Colour Palette:

•  Primary Colors: Electric blues, vibrant reds, bright yellows, bold oranges.
• Accent Colors: Pale blue, sage and pink.
• Neutrals: Crisp white, ivory, black, 

Textures and Patterns:

• Textures:  wood finishes in architecture, colour powder, shine and gloss (surfboards). 
• Patterns: Stripes (from the heart image) rectangles (from the windows)

Cards

• Create a birthday card with a colorful building theme. This cute card using a house die buildings with a sunshine background is so pretty. Card is from the Just Add Ink Blog.

• Here is a great idea from the I Love Doing All Things Crafty Blog. If you have an an umbrella metal die, create a card using colouful cardstock and layer the umbrellas together with 3D tape. together.
