Monday Scrapboooking Mini Layout "Cuddles"
Happy Monday everyone!
Each of my Monday mini layouts is like a little treasure chest of personal messages, each carefully written for one of my children or grandchildren, depending on the layout's theme and who it features.
These messages will serve as lasting reminders of just how unique and wonderful they are. I will try and document some of life's most important lessons – to be joyful, to follow their hearts, don't be afraid to fail, be kind, nurture friendships and relationships, and always strive to do the right thing. These layouts are not just snapshots of moments but contain little hidden snippets of love and wisdom, waiting to offer guidance and encouragement whenever they may need it. I hope that they will be a tangible expression of the boundless love and support that we surround them with, reminding them to navigate life with purpose, integrity, and an ever-present sense of joy.
Today, let's talk about a fun and creative way to start your week - scrapbooking Monday Mini's.
If you're not familiar with the concept, a Monday mini is a small 6 x 6 scrapbook layout that captures a moment or memory:
It can be a memory from your previous week some older photos that you haven’t yet scrapped or a way to use up left over photos from a previous project.
It's a great way to document your life in a manageable and easily achievable way and to use up your leftover papers and embellishments, cardstock, chipboard or flowers. Anything goes really!
One of the best things about scrapbooking Monday Mini's is that they don't have to be perfect. You can experiment with different techniques or just keep them very simple. The idea is to get some creative time in, have fun and let your creativity flow!

This weeks Monday Mini - 18 September 2023
Sometimes, amidst the hustle and bustle of life, there emerges a heartwarming moment – a precious pause in the chaos. It's the moment when two siblings, decide that it just might be okay to share a sweet cuddle. Both Mason and Layla are not normally affectionate with each other.
Neither of them particularly enjoys having their photos taken these days. However, my daughter, Aimee, has a special knack for convincing them to cooperate with the camera. In this instance, not only did she capture a lovely photo of both Layla and Mason, but it also caught them in the cuddle, while Layla initiated the cuddle, it was nice to see that Mason, was rather gracious and did not push her away.
This layout is a little different from my usual Monday Minis, it is more of a Hybrid layout with some digital elements, such as the title, journalling, and bottom right element, These elements will be printed and I will fussy cut them out.
Using some digital elements helps me finish off a layout and move elements around until I am happy with the way they look in the album. I find that when something is in a digital format, my ability to articulate thoughts with words tends to be more fluid. In other words, as I type, the words seem to flow more effortlessly compared to when I use a pen.
This Monday Mini will be going into my grandson Mason's album and a copy in Layla's album.

My message to them both is to "remember that even though your lives may follow different paths, and in a world that can sometimes be tough and unpredictable, always know that you can rely on each other, and be there for each other. I hope this mini will be a simple reminder of the bond you share as siblings and that always be there for each other, no matter what the future holds".
