SPRING SCRAPBOOKING TITLE IDEAS

As spring arrives, it's the perfect time to embrace the season's fresh energy by diving into activities that rejuvenate both your home and garden. The warming weather and blooming landscapes inspire many to start spring cleaning—a thorough decluttering and deep cleaning that breathes new life into your living space. It's a chance to clear out the cobwebs, literally and figuratively, by sorting through closets, scrubbing surfaces, and letting go of items that no longer serve you. This ritual not only makes your home feel lighter and more organised but also sets a positive tone for the months ahead.

Alongside cleaning, spring is the ideal time to reconnect with nature by planting flowers and tending to your garden. There's something deeply satisfying about getting your hands in the soil and watching new life emerge.

I like to plant a variety of flowers to add color and fragrance to my garden, repotting garden beds and re-mulching pots, and generally add some pretty touches to our outdoor areas ready for the warmer months.

Today, I embraced a bit of that seasonal change with a round of weeding one of my garden beds and in the spirit of spring, I also created a quick and cheerful scrapbook layout titled 'Little House Home Grown.'

A vibrant scrapbooking page titled 'Home Grown' featuring spring flowers in full bloom. The layout showcases creative crafting ideas with floral embellishments, soft pastel colors, and hand-drawn elements that capture the essence of spring. The page reflects the joy of scrapbooking, highlighting the theme of nature and home gardening during the spring season.
The layout features a simple house design, with the house itself made from cardstock cut into a square and triangle, then covered with patterned paper, finished off with some white Ric Rac.  To give the layout a touch of whimsy, I drew some clouds, cut them out, and softly inked the edges and center with Distress Oxide Ink.  Since I love gardening, I used photos of the flowers and plants currently blooming in our garden.

I also used the Hot off the Press Little Birdie Template to create a handmade little bird. This versatile template was the perfect touch for adding a sweet touch to my page. I simply traced and cut out the bird and wing shape, then cut a slit to fit the wings and slid the wings through the slit.
