Our Sunday Creative Day in November was filled with creativity, laughter, and the joy of crafting something truly unique. Hosted by the ever-talented Jodie Taig, this month’s "Make and Take" workshop was all about creating a Christmas Gift Box / Pop-Up Cubes—a playful and interactive project perfect for a  Christmas Project.

Jodie, a gifted crafter and teacher, not only led the workshop with enthusiasm but also went the extra mile to pre-cut all the materials for us. Her thoughtful preparation made the process smooth and enjoyable, allowing everyone to focus on the fun part: putting it all together and adding our personal touches.

The Project: A Box Full of Surprises

The Christmas Gift Box with Pop-Up Cubes is a delightful little project that combines creativity with an element of surprise. Imagine opening a beautifully crafted box, only to have a cascade of colorful cubes pop out! It’s the kind of project that’s perfect for adding a whimsical twist to your holiday gifts or even serving as a keepsake to cherish memories of the season. We used the beautiful Mintay papers from the Merry and Joy collection. 

Why This Project Was a Hit

The pop-up cubes added an unexpected twist that left everyone delighted. It wasn’t just about crafting—it was about creating something that could bring joy and surprise to others.
