Nestled within this painted wooden box rests an "off the page" card that I made some time ago, and seems to remain one of my favourites. At its heart lies a chipboard heart, a symbol of affection and emotion.
The wooden heart has been covered with some Cadence Baby Blue Relief Paste. Just a light covering on both sides.
Lace, raffia, and muslin come together, forming a backdrop that adds depth and dimension to this card. The lace, delicate and ethereal, add a softness to the card and the raffia, with its rustic charm, adds a touch of earthiness and warmth.I also love using muslin, in my projects as it adds an ethereal, dreamlike quality and I love colouring muslin to perfectly match with my colour palette.
The timeless quote, "Smile, today is beautiful." encourages a moment of reflection and gratitude. It serves as a reminder for us all to embrace the present, finding beauty in life's simplest moments.
