Julie's Joy -

So, I got to thinking about things that I post about and it's of great concern to me that not only I post interesting stuff, but also relevant stuff too.

So next up in our series of monthly posts is Julie's Joy! As you may or my not know, our lovely Boss Lady's name is Julie and I'd like to take a moment to highlight the favourite product that is sitting on her desk right now.

Most recently you will find the Cadence Relief Paste range. What on earth is THAT I hear you ask...?

From the shop listing, here is the short answer...

"Water based matt acrylic paste apply to give dimensional effects on all hard surfaces. Apply with stencil or free pattern relief work. Best to apply with spatula / fan brush / sponge. Protect from frost.
Non toxic."

So beyond the description across the web in regards to this product, the intended purpose of this paste is that it be used on wood or ceramics, or basically on hard surfaces to help embellish its beauty. Too though, they can be used on your scrapbooking pages and as with their distant cousin, texture paste, these can be used as a mode of transport for things such as art stones, mica beads et al.

The other thing to note about some (though not all) Mixed Media products is that they can be on the high side of the $$$ range. NOT SO with these little relief pastes!!! At just under $9 a pot, they represent fantastic value for money with some SUPER pretty colours in their family to boot!!!
