12 x 12 Scrapbooking Layout - Nuvo Shimmer Powders

Good Morning Followers and welcome to our first post for September 2020. WAIT!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAT????? Wasn't it just January last week???

Anyway regardless of the time flying, I'm certain that most of us would gladly bid GOOD RIDDANCE to 2020. While it's been rough, 2020 hasn't been all bad with some pretty marvelous new products hitting our shelves briefly before flying out the door!

NUVO 

One of my favourite product ranges to date is from a company called NUVO. These products come to us direct from Tonic Studios which also houses a wide range of Tim Holtz products.

The Nuvo product range includes Glitter Drops, Glow Drops, Embellishment Mousse, Glimmer Paste, 
Mica Mists, Brushes, Tools and not to mention their Deluxe Adhesive. You can find all these products in the Nuvo Collection at Scrap of Your Life

One of the things that draws my eye to these products is the large diamond like jewel on the cap of most products and they sure do look pretty nice lined up in your craft room. 

Design Team Project - NUVO Shimmer Powders 

This project features the work of DT Member Kate using the NUVO Shimmer Powders.

In this project, you can see that Kate has gone for very clean lines in her approach, but when you look closely, you can see quite a deep texture to the circles she has strategically placed throughout.

Using the stencil as shown above, Kate has used standard Gesso and then coloured it with NUVO Shimmer Powder to give it that lovely deep emerald colour complete with the texture that lends itself to a fantastic level of depth.

Nuvo Shimmer Powders are very versatile and there are so many uniques ways of incoporating them into your craft projects. Why not give them a try.
