What I would do if I had a week to live?

This weeks Mcklinky blog hop is to fill in the blanks for the paragraphs below. It actually gets the thought process working - I found it quite interesting to think about. Fill in the blanks below.... mine is below so just scroll down.

You just found out you have one week to live. The first person you call is your husband and say"I love you, we have had wonderful time together, we need to enjoy the time left." Immediately after hanging up the phone, you leave the doctors office and before heading home you go to the beach and just watch the ocean for a while so you can think about your family and all the treasured moments.

You gather your family at home that night and say" the time left is for our enjoyment and we should be sad - look forward" then all of you together talk about our favourite times so it can be captured in a album not just for our children but for future generations.

You book a three day trip to three different places because you've always wanted to see, Egypt and Africa and fly in a hot air balloon . On the way back from your trip you stop off at the place you were born to visit your home country of Wales and your grandmother because you've been meaning to for a long time.

For two more days you spend your time making a journal album for my family of all the wonderful things we have enjoyed together, writing letters to be given to my little boy as he grows up , and leave him videos of important messages he must remember as he grows up. You make sure you all your affairs are in order so they don't have to worry, compile all your poetry and ask my husband to try and get it published. I ask my husband what are his goals for the future and ask him to promise to try and achieve them ... three things you know you should have taken care of but have been putting off.

The final day is too personal to write about but you wonder to yourself: why did I have to get a death notice before I finally did all those things this week?

The reason I'll probably keeping putting off all those things is is life seems to get a little out of perpective and priorities get skewed but times like this make us realise what is important and we should not put things off that we know will make us happy.
