Happy New Year

Hello everyone. I hope you all had a fabulous time welcoming in the new year.
I can't believe it is already 2009....

Well to kick of the new year what about a competition?

This is the article from the Scrap Of Your Life January Newsletter.. Subscribe to the scrap of yourlife newsletter by clicking here http://visitor.constantcontact.com/email.jsp?m=1102018909111&p=oi

If you want to comment on the competition or article or have any thoughts to share you can post them here http://scrapofyourlife.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=13

"We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential."
~Ellen Goodman

What's on your resolution list? How many times have you heard this question at the beginning of a New Year.... Are you tired of that question ? I don't know about you, but I kind of dread thinking about New Year's Resolutions......it always leads to a dilemma. Do I make my resolutions simple enough to make sure I'm successful? Or on the other hand, I could set high, enthusiastic goals that sound really good while underneath knowing that I may or may not be successful.

Well what about forgetting what you didn't accomplish last year and focusing on what you DID achieve during 2008? What about focusing on all the wonderful things you did that you haven't given yourself credit for? What do your friends love about you? How many ways were you a good employee, employer, friend, spouse, parent, leader, etc.

So to open the new year with a bang here is the first challenge for 2009 - start scrapping about some of the great things YOU did during 2008. E-mail me your layout or upload to the Scrap Of Your Life gallery and you could win a Heidi Swapp pack valued at $30.00. The competition closes 31st January 2009.

So start scrapping...
